The Annunziata is based on the 0 sized guitars built by Chicago makers like Stromberg and Regal. Charlie Patton played a guitar that is similar to the Annunziata. I use both ladder and X bracing for this model. Though it is traditionally ladder braced, the X braced version is exceptionally smooth, without the edge and punch of the ladder bracing. The lower bout measures 13 1/2", with a 24 7/8" scale.
